Believers across Africa are gathering to worship, pray, and experience the Bible.
The Church in Africa is growing. Deaf leaders are rising. Their faith is strong, and their desire to know God through His Word is real.
That hunger makes the remaining need even more urgent.
Africa is home to hundreds of communities and many unique languages and sign languages. While progress is being made, many people still have limited to no access to Scripture in the language they understand best.
For some, they have never seen a Bible story in their own sign language. A Deaf grandmother has never experienced God speaking through the language she has used her entire life. A Deaf child has never watched the story of Jesus in the language that feels like home.
Local leaders are responding. Deaf translators, pastors, and ministry teams are serving their own communities.
As Psalm 96:3 says:
“Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples.”
Today, that declaration is shared across Africa that have never shared the Bible before.
When you pray today, you stand alongside believers who are helping their communities know Jesus through Scripture.
Lord, You see every community across Africa.
We pray for the translation teams laboring in Africa right now and for the indigenous believers sharing the Bible to their own people. Protect them. Provide for them. Let the day come soon when every language and sign language in Africa holds the light of Your Word. Amen.
