God is moving across the Middle East and North Africa. This region is often called “closed.” In many countries, following Jesus comes with great risk. Some believers face persecution, imprisonment, or rejection because of their faith.
In the Arab world, people are encountering Jesus through dreams, through digital access, through the testimony of neighbors who have risked everything to share what they have found.
The Middle East and North Africa region is not a graveyard for the Gospel. It is a harvest field.
When you pray today, you stand with every believer in this region who worships at great personal cost. You stand with the translators and distributors who are finding creative, courageous ways to get the Bible to people who are desperately hungry for it.
Your prayers cross borders that are closed to missionaries, reach homes that no outsider could enter, and touch hearts that only God can see.
As Psalm 86:9 reminds us:
“All the nations You have made will come and worship before You, Lord; they will bring glory to Your name.”
God is drawing people from every nation, every culture, and every sign language to Himself.
Lord, we pray for the believers across the Middle East and North Africa who follow You at great cost. Protect them. Sustain them. We pray for the translation and distribution work happening in closed and restricted countries, for the creative courage of those finding ways to get bring Scripture to people who are waiting. Let Your light shine in the darkest places. Let the hungry be fed. Amen.
